Accommodation and food
In addition to the rooms provided with bed linen, towels and hygiene articles, you will receive meal vouchers that you can use to eat three meals a day in our DESY canteen/cafeteria in building 9:
Opening hours: Monday to Friday 7 – 17 h, lunch served 11 - 14 h
Saturday and Sunday the cafeteria is open from 9 – 15 h.
Events and activities
Afternoon Tea @ DESY
Every second Thursday at 15:30-17:00 p.m.
Every two weeks we will host a small afternoon tea.
There will be some cake, pastries, coffee, tea and juice. Toys for the children are also provided.
The event should be a small offer to those who want, to have the opportunity to make contacts, have small talk, ask questions and just have a nice, relaxed time.
From DESY side there will also be people who speak Ukrainian and/or Russian.

We have a medical service on our DESY campus. At the beginning of your stay, you will have the opportunity to visit our company doctor. She will also assess your Covid19 vaccination status and provide vaccination advice. If you are ill or also need psychological help, please contact:
