Internal events and activities on the DESY campus
Afternoon Tea @ DESY
Every second Thursday at 15:30-17:00 p.m.
Every two weeks we will host a small afternoon tea.
There will be some cake, pastries, coffee, tea and juice. Toys for the children are also provided.
The event should be a small offer to those who want, to have the opportunity to make contacts, have small talk, ask questions and just have a nice, relaxed time.
From DESY side there will also be people who speak Ukrainian and/or Russian.

Climbing or bouldering together

We, from the DESY sports association, invite all refugees with their children to go climbing or bouldering with us every Monday.
If it is good weather we go climbing outside, if it is rainy weather we go bouldering inside. For further information, please see the flyer attached.
How can I join?
Thomas will pick you up in front of building 42a at 4pm and wait for people till 4:15pm. Then all together we will walk or drive by bus to the final destination.

NDR Concerts
NDR is offering free tickets for Ukrainians
Comfort through music: As of now, free tickets are available to refugees from Ukraine for the concerts of the NDR ensembles and concert series in Hamburg, Hanover and Lübeck. Always bookable two weeks before the concert and until the end of the season. Tickets are available via the ticket button or by phone at (040) 35766666.
