You can use our guest Wifi "Science-Hotspot" free of charge.

The guest Wifi does not require any registration. Users only have to accept the usage regulations on the portal website of the WLAN network.

Note: Despite the encryption used, it cannot be ruled out that it can be decrypted by attacks by third parties. Secure protocols (such as SSH and VPN) should therefore be used for the transmission of sensitive data (e.g. passwords).

Translations from German to Ukrainian

We have many Ukrainian-speaking colleagues at DESY who will be happy to assist you if there’s something you don’t understand or need a translation. Just contact the International Office. In addition, almost all DESY staff speak English.

Support services offered by DESY employees

Perhaps you would like to get to know our research campus, take part in a communal breakfast, seek help with visits to the authorities or just go for a walk? DESY volunteers (coordinated by an ad hoc Ukraine support team) are currently preparing some activities and offers for you. The International Office will inform you about these and up-to-date information will be published on this website. However, please do not feel obliged to take part in the offers. You decide what is good for you and your family in this challenging situation.
